Jupiter-Saturn Conjunction 2020

On the evening of winter solstice day, December 21st, we will be treated to a rather special sight in the evening sky after the sun has set. The major planets Jupiter and Saturn will appear very close to each other in the evening sky - so close that it will be difficult to separate them by eye.
