Roman Crafts

We are about to launch our programme of craft workshops for the coming year, but just to whet your appetites.....(Not actually an SOS event, but very close !)

Saturday, July 20th.

1pm - 4pm

Swaby Village Hall

Admission: £5 to include a cream tea.

Booking required: 01507 480620

A Roman re-enactment event with Helen and David Marsden who will bring along their loom and tools to demonstrate the ancient arts of weaving and cobbling.

As an added bonus for those of us who are wondering whether there are still toga wearers in the village, Dave Start will give a short introductory talk on Roman Swaby.

All in all, an event not to be missed.
