Star Baker Cake
(Easy Fruit Cake -boiled )
 

 

Ingredients

12 ounces mixed fruit
4 ounces sugar
4 ounces butter or Marge
Quarter pint of water
One egg one egg
8 ounces self raising flour

Method


Place fruit, sugar, fat and water into pan, simmer for 20 minutes.


Allow to cool then add beaten egg and fold in flour.


Turn into 6" or 7" tin


Bake in a moderate oven 300 to 325° C for about one and a half hours.

 


When cool cut into desired shape.

 

Cover in marzipan and white icing.


Sprinkle with edible glitter
